If you haven't heard the awesome news, iMAD (i Make A Difference) has two different summer camps happening this year. iMAD focuses on building healthy relationships, communication, decision making, goal setting, self-management, and much more! So both of these camps will be based around these fundamentals.
The first of the two camps offered by iMADthis summer is the Imagination Motion and Direction video production camp. For ages 13-18, participants learn to write, create, edit, and produce videos through their own creative lens. They will learn about how a film set operates behind the scenes and even get to make their own film in the process.
Imad's second summer camp is called Harry Potter Summer Exploratorium in which iMAD stands for International Magical Academy of Discoveries! In this camp the children, ages 10-15, will learn how to work in teams and make new friends. They will learn self awareness, responsibility, and smart decision making. On top of important life skills the children will also be doing some pretty cool stuff, including but not limited to wand making, potion making, and learning the game of quidditch!
The camps run from June 17 – June 21 for the first session, and July 22 - July 26 for the second session. Each session is on a first come, first serve basis and the camps both start at 7:30 AM and end at 4:30 PM each day of the session. The Harry Potter Summer Exploratorium has 30 slots available for each session, and the Video Production camp has has 15 slots available each session.
If you or your child is interested in either camp you can visit iMad's website for more information, or email Larry Moore with any questions.
