Love is difficult and complicated; as a result, we have a need to love, a need to be loved, and a need for Self-Love. Which of these describe you? This is a simple question that directly impacts your mental well-being. In my practice I help people who have never taken the time to think about Self-Love refocus themselves to embrace Self-Love. Self-Love is important I'm not talking about the kind of selfish love protrayed in magazines, movies, on tv or even the radio. I'm talking about "Self" Love. Ask yourself "Do I acknowledge that I have a need to love myself?". Reflect on this as we approach Valentine's Day. What are your thoughts on Self-Love?
